It wont fit through the back. Cut the hole in the side rail and do it that way. There are two different kinds of valves at home depot. The pvc kind and the sump valve kind. I like the white pvc check valve. If you look at the sump one if you hold it up side down the flap falls open so it doesnt...
You should be able to slide it back enough to just clear the exhaust. If not cut the hole slightly larger in the back to do it. If you look at your footholds the exhaust side should have a slight angle in the front to clear.
For as much as you will use it after the projects you have planned you probably dont need a $300 dollar spray gun. I do a lot of painting and I really love my Sharpe Finex. I am going to school to be a painter and have used just about every gun on the market. I am not a real big fan of DeVilbiss...

What color is it? My buddys had th wc logo on it too. His was like a gold color. Unless it has been painted it should be blue or black and gold. Blue is standard model black and gold is race series, gold is wet jet hpe this helps.
You probably have a wetjet head. My buddy has the same one that came off a wetjet kraze dont know what numbers are on his domes but his stock bore blaster makes 160psi.

The interlock problem is that the ski wont turn over even with the lanyard attached. If you jiggle it or pull up on the lanyard sometimes it will work but sucks when you are in the middle of lake MI and it wont start.
If you take the hood off and see smoke the engine is breathing exhausted air. That is why it would be breaking up. Did you check the coupler and all the gaskets.
You want to get rid of the gloss. Make sure to clean real good after sanding with wax and grease remover. You can prime over 220 if you use high build primer/surfacer. Then sand that with 320 or 400 the object of that is to get rid of all the sand scratches which wont be very visible until you...
You have to slide it back ward to disengage the drive shaft then it should come right out. If you disconnected 4 bolts and all hoses it should come out sometimes they take a little effort form a pry bar to unstick them from the hull but not too much.
