I unplugged the black and white wires but didn't turn the idle off what does turning the idle of do?

Im not with the ski right now but I dont think thats the problem the caps are in great shape but I could be wrong if thats not it what should I check next?

OEM but by caps do you mean the spark plug boots or am I thinking of the wrong thing?

Hey guys so I was out riding shut the ski off and went back to start it and it turned over but no spark. I have no idea what it is and I'm wondering if you guys could give me so help? Thanks, Jack
