You can make a pointer off the back of the motor and put a tdc mark on the pto. Or measure the diameter of the pto and order timing tape. Then use the pto for ur timing light readings

What is your goal for the ski? Surf? Boat chasing etc.

Oe Oem 155. Whole setup works great. Someone with more skill could flatwater flip it

I came from x2s onto a v2x this summer and couldn't be happier. Its the smallest of the bunch so to me the most x2 like. It took me about 2 weeks to get flips around off boat wakes with a ported 760 in my glass v2x.

After I posted it I see you probably meant the USB cable not the extension cable.

It is a standard idc 10 pin ribbon cable like shown here

I'm running a 6/10 cutback 5mm in an oem 155 pump on a fully ported 760. B pipe, zeeltronic. Still has more top end then the hull can handle. I think a 6/12 will be too steep

I personally think this is the best option. I hope more hull/ parts manufacturers start making more options for this route.

that is what i did. i made a fixed timing map and verified/adjusted static timing to that. i have not had any issues with my timing light on 2 strokes. i forget the brand, but it works just fine.

i am running 750 zxi electronics and also got 56 degree static verified with timing light. boat runs like an animal
