-4 pole and -2.5 turnplate.... hunched over is good for me... its more of an aggressive stance... good for freestyle for me.... if I wanna be more strait I ride around surf stance...
If you have some freetime scuff up all the paint were we will be turfing... to make the turf stick better you may want to take it straight down to glass... but that's up to you... if you dont have time, we can do it tomorrow, but I have between 12 and 4:30 to work on this and I wanna get as much...
I have freetime Friday during the afternoon and then prob. some on Monday.... have wedding on Sat. and family thing Sunday... possibly Sunday later afternoon/evening though.... any of those work good?
sometimes you have to grind your chinpad down, grind/cut your steering cable threads down, etc, etc... dont ever expect anything to just bolt up... you'll find that on about every aftermarket ski part.... grind, cut, or do whatever...
14/18 hooker?
Dave recommended a 12/18 for a 860cc 8mil lamey with about exactly the same bolt-on and pump setup as this otherwise.... seems like most bigbores are using 10/16 hookers... and limited stock setups are using 9/15's....
Sure there's a reason why the 14/18 is working here...
you wont be getting much "high performance" out of an 89 without spending a bunch of money lol...
do yourself a favor and buy something newer with a bunch of nice modifications already done...
Should be able to find something nice for 1500-3000 depending on how great you want it to be...
