I hit a log and tore the intake grate off. How do I reattach it. Looks like there use to be nuts built in. Now it is all gone. Any suggestions? Thanks

I just bought a 1990 kwasaki x2, I hit a log and broke the vane guide and now there is a lot of ticking sounds at higher speeds. I turned it over and the drive shaft is loose. Is this usual? Where can i find the vane guide and other stuff i need for a good price. and i need new hood latches...
