useually we start with 320-400 after the primer wet sand with 600 to get ready for paint. i wouldnt go less than 220 wet or dry for primer because of scratches

use the West system 404 to fill the bond line....you can do a layer of 12 or 17 oz. biax for rienforce and layer of carb. west system has the resin/hardener/filler for about $120

is it when you land? or just flat water? mine use to do that when i landed and would start back up fine. if thats the case check the fuel filter in the carb
