So after 7 yrs I decided to start back up again..picked up an older gp 800 for motor and pump...took it out to make sure all was well before I cut it apart. It runs good out of water but wont under load, will get up on plane but then bogs down and wont go anyware....stop open hood...close hood...

buddie has a 760 with a riva non-girdled head has the 8hs's in it. are they good? or is there another one to run? i know the girdled heads take different plugs.
