Has any one got any good tips or advice on minimising water getting into your air intake i already know about the front of the hood blocking it off any thing would be good..

Has any one got real good picks where ya should put hood straps on at the front. Do they just go in the pole bracket?

so i think they do seals for x2 would those hood seals fit on sxrs

I reckon have them in there for the surf better to buy keepers then having to buy mounts i have had mine in for a month and just pulled them out and i can see they are usefull seeing the marks on the keeper. There is a lot of pressure on those mounts in the surf.

Make sure you put them in the right way though

Why do the sxr engine keepers from blowsion go on the back mounts instead of the front mounts

Would the blaster seals fit on the sxr?

I have asked ajsp and they only got stock standard seals for the kawasakis

Well it would seem every time im under well the hood any way and put the gas on to get myself up its sucking through quite a bit of water wanted to mimimise this. Does that australian company have a website

Can you get a after market hood seal that is better then the factory one.

Does a duck bill have a down side can it fill the ski with water if upside down or in rough surf.

Yea i have noticed that with my bilges to. But when i stop and check there not much water in there at all. really sure its sucking straight in and into the carbs. it must be only the seals and the front hole woulnt it?

Cheers i will look in to all that but i run 2 500 bilge pumps so pretty sure the leak is coming straight in and going down the carbs. going to get the blowsion hood kit for the front air hole

I have blocked off the front hole it seems to be coming in on the right hand side of the hood cause happens when i turn right. Yea dont really want scupper cause i only surf ride.

In the surf my hood seems to be leaking in a heak of a lot of water im pretty sure its not the air vents that are the issue. Cause what happens is i turn right and water gets sucked in and my ski runs bad for a while then comes right, when i turn left it sucks no water. My hood seems a little...
