It's not battery voltage. If it spins your ski over that's draining more than the ignition. Sure that may stop it from starting as the electronics will have a cut out voltage. But if it happens when it's runnung and the ski cranks gone after that. You couldn't really blame the battery.

i had some depotting solution its a pain in the but. I did a msd enhancer as well it has some major capacitors in that thing. you can just google it and find the stuff. However if you fix one then you take on the warranty, I would be hesitant to do that

I actually depotted a stock cdi and spent a lot of time trying to get a better curve in it as well, Would have been awesome I had a test rig all set up but it was not to be. If you could change the curve on the stock cdi I reckon you would be on a winner

Do not do the ignition thing but even if you still decide to do it then base it on the 760 system that works awesome, you just need a lighter flywheel

To be honest I think the ones I did were close to the worst. I tried it for a while I was working with " horse power ignitions" and developing it. Cost me heaps. I ended up buying back pretty much every ignition I sold. I was not prepared to let other people take the hit for my faulty product

The right curve makes a huge difference. You just need to have an ignition that will do it reliably.

yes you need to, We looked at an atp flame with the trick curve in it, It was a straight line. Im not sure how that is trick but its not going to help power
