What is the highest compression the 1100 can run without detonation worries in pump gas 93 octane? I know there are variations that can change the compression with dome sizes such as bores base gaskets and all but I'm looking for compression numbers.
The only mods not done to my 06 sxr is the ignition and flywheel. Looking for some advice of the best combo without going total loss. Don't want to have to worry about battery life while riding.

So my 06 Sxr came with a kart tank which isn't for me as ride times are cut short. What do most people use besides a stock Sxr tank? Would a 550 tank be a good compromise of fuel capacity to space in the hull?
