I wanted mine to fit perfect and make the track smooth... These big motors make a lot of power so the pump, intake area , pump shoe are very important. On the front two bolts I cut over 1/4 off the front and made it fit directly into the front of the pump shoe, then counter sunk the screw heads...

Basically I took a 3 gal tank, cut 2 in off the bottom so it would sit straight up. Then cut into the bottom of the tank the size of a etx14 battery, & welded everything up. So yes the battery sits inside the front of the tank, but leaves the battery terminals in front away from the tank so no...

XM or Thrust you have to buy a 62T Raider, etc Reduction nozzle or Pro Tec Maxi Flow Reduction $50-125 depending which way you go. Not sure about the XM steering nozzle, but the Thrust you can run a cheap GP800 plastic steering nozzle $35-40 new... Thats what I run on my surf ski or the Pro...

Just got the tank back, man it's going to work perfect... We cut it down from 3 gal to 2 gal & the battery fits right in the front. ETX9 or ETX14 will fit, installed strap tabs for the battery & the tank. Going to put some turf on the bottom of the tank & some turf near the battery.... Should...

If your going to compare XM to Blowsion you should also consider Thrust Innovations.... One of my buddies runs the XM setup, it works okay & its hard to beat for the price.... But you can't go wrong with the Thrust setup, its bullet proof, all Billet, top notch stuff.... I think Brian has a deal...

I went with dual pole breathers & dual hood breather. I drilled the hole small so the hose fits tight & then 5200 on the bottom (inside the hull) around the breather. The XS1000 pull A L O T of air into the hull so you really need the extra hoses.
