Actually I just realized that the pour foam would be poured in the gun wells. So maybe it wouldn't get wet? I'll have to ask Josh or Brian if the top and bottom decks are open or if the foam would stay in just the gun well area.
Yeah the new Thrust mini drains are the ball type. I know Rage's comp skis are open bulkhead with no foam,...so although mine isn't a "comp layup" it may be built the same way,...which it probably is since they built mine with no foam as well. But we didn't have the holes drilled for drains so...
Not sure exaxtly. Maybe a little under 1 gallon?!! Seemed like a lot though. It's my 1st AM hull and I hear they all leak somewhat. But we weighed it and it was definitely at least 8 lbs lighter after drilling 2 holes and tipping and draining it. I bought some Thrust drains for it so hopefully...
Hey Bryan. The drains alone aren't working for ya? I just bought some of the new style Thrust mini drains. But now I am thinking maybe I should of had Rage install foam as well. I thought Josh was going to add some but he ended up going foamless and I have water getting in there as well. Guess...
Nice! Glad to hear another good review on these haulers. I will definitely be getting one for either Christmas or my b-day. I'd get one now but my funds are drained from my Havoc build!!
On a side note its hard to know the difference form the 781 and my 701 as my new hull is already light as...
Can you show some pics with the adjustable hitch option? I have a non lifted Superduty but its still pretty damn tall! Only thing from keeping me from getting one of these is I'm afraid with the height of my truck/hitch I may run into problems
Bought Blue's personal JM/Blue 781BB out of his Freak he sold to Mickolobe. Great communication throughout the process, and gave me a great deal on the package deal (bought motor, pipe, carbs and stator/flywheel etc)
Everything was packaged and wrapped up securely and was shipped out right...
Damn! That sucks. Hopefully next year?!!!
I went down there to ride last summer but since I was only going to go 1 or 2 times I (we) couldn't justify the yearly beach pass plus the extra cost "per ski". We did find a ramp on the bay but I was practically out of gas by the time I reached the...
Can anyone give me a ride report on this engine compared to the JM 735? Is the power difference worth the price or is the 735 better bang for the buck since it's a lot cheaper?
Thanks.
^^
Is that $47 shipped? Still have my old Slippery but that's a great price! Maybe if I'm not completely broke after my Havoc build I'll take one. How much for Jet Pilot gloves as well, shipped of course?
