UPDATE... possibly Galveston as it's a lot closer still for some people I will be going to Surf side for this.... I can't justify the extra long drive when I can stay at my timeshare in Jamaica beach... so I will either ride in or near galveston or go down to surf side.... i'll be going down...

I have yet to see any sxr converted to use a Yamaha pump... I guess it's possible if your pockets are deep enough... I'd be curious to see this conversion.

I don't think it really would be possible to convert kawasaki deck to a yamaha pump with out totaly re-designing/glassing the bottom.

i've just aligned the engine after the pump... just make sure the pump is in, and the bearing is lose, install motor, and snug down bearing where it all fits right... never had any issues doing it this way

my trinity epic is basicly the same as the Evo but as a gen2... I will say that mine being a -4 rides crazy nose high and I now almost prefer my stock sxr hull... i think the -2 would be great also or even the full length if you get the carbon version. mine is carbon and -4 and it's nothing...

or just go with an sxr and fixed steer :) tho it's not a nimble for sure as an sj
