    Freestyle Dual 49mm on 701

In my personal ski I use 48 Novis, R&D Mani, V force reeds and a spacer. I have used the boyeseen intake with full specs with great results. I used to have a limited SJ with R&D semi dry pipe, head, msd enhancer the full spec set up and it rocked. Plus, I went straight from the stock 38s to...

    Freestyle Dual 49mm on 701

Yes, you can run a 49 FS dual set up on a limited set up. Especially with your set up - dry pipe, adjustable ignition, case and cylinder porting. A lot of people on here will say it is too big, I am not going to say they are right or wrong, I will just say on our skis, they work much better...

    Seadoo HX

IMO the x4 Doo is the most fun runabout ever made. Couldn't agree more, bro. As for the HX vs Blaster, they really are about as opposite as two skis that are considered the same class can be. An HX is a carver. It is designed to sit in the water, cut thru it and eat up chop. That is why it...

Freestyle protec intake grate good or no

Agreed, pro tec is a nice intake, especially if it is already on the ski. If you want to improve on the hook up a bit, you can add a washer or two between the rear mount and the shoe. Just don't use too long of a bolt when putting the grate back on, as this will break the shoe pretty easy...

Blaster prop questions for my blaster

Call Dave at impros, tell him you want a 9/16 hooker. They usually come 10/16, but the riva red pipe needs a smallish prop in the leading edge. This will allow the ski to spool up faster. Just my opinion. Scottie

Blaster For sale blaster 1 with a 1100 motor

We've been working on getting the rules changed for Sport Mod to something that would allow this ski to be legal. Its cheaper to build something like this than it is to build a mod stroker, etc. Nice price for a custom ski that has already had the work done. Not to mention, there is nothing...

    Freestyle Stand up on sportscenter?!?!

I saw it this morning, was something from some kind of x-games type thing in Europe. Showed the rider doing a barrel roll into a backflip. I was shocked to see it on ESPN, lol. Still, always great to have some good PR on a nationwide network like ESPN. Scottie

    Blaster 1200 motor in blaster

The R motor won't fit because of the exhaust chamber. You would have to cut half of the top deck off and do major glass work to get it to clear. Besides, the R motor is a HEAVY B1TCH. Scottie

    Blaster Carbon blaster

The mag set back 140 is the pump of choice for the carbon blasters. With a fresh rebuilt 5mil it would rip. The carbon blasters are a ton of fun, the weight loss totally changes the way the ski rides. Plus, the hook up from the extended hull along with a nice set back mag is phenomenal. That...

Super Jet R&D Wet Pipe reviews?!?!

The manifolds are prone to cracking. With the R&D Wet, there is not 'head pipe' like a FP. Just a manifold and chamber, like a Speedwerx or FP dry pipe. Scottie

Super Jet R&D Wet Pipe reviews?!?!

Because the manifold is prone to cracking. That is the reason why most you will find have gussets welded on. I rode mine for years without issue, but like I mentioned before, I pretty much only ran bouys. If you are planning on surf riding or serious jumping, the design of that pipe is a...

Super Jet R&D Wet Pipe reviews?!?!

I went from a b pipe with FX1 chamber to the R&D wet pipe - better all around, but as mentioned, you need water injection (which sucks) and you need to keep an eye on the manifold. I had mine gussetted and it never had an issue, but I wouldn't trust one for any type of jumping. I was mainly...

Freestyle which cylinder hits harder?stock lamey or ported 61x?

You can get just as much bottom end hit out of a non powervalve cylinder as you can a PV one. What the PVs allow is the ability to raise the ports as the throttle range opens up, therefore giving better upper mid and top. For the original question - Lameys are a better design, no doubt...

Blaster My Wife's Wave Blaster build, 772cc Freeride ready

Hey bro, if I were you, I would put in a GP760 waterbox. It fits un the spot without modification and we have been using it for years in everything from spec blasters to full on 8mils. Not to say the one you have currently won't work, just saying what we have found over the years. Either...

    Blaster Blaster motor question

IMO, the 62t motor is a better motor all the way around. You just have to know how to set it up to put the power to the water. A 760 is a 62t raider motor with an 84mm bore, different stator/flywheel combo and the OEM Yamaha 44mm carbs. Everything else is the same. Take the 760, add the...
