Yeah, definitely gonna cut the ride plate down. I wanna ride it first and see how much I want to take off though. I'm a decent size guy, 6'1" 215, and don't want to chop too much and have the nose sitting sky high all the time.
Thanks! This will be a ski I ride a lot, flat water chasing boats and some surf from time to time. I wanted it to be relatively cheap for an AM hull build, simple and reliable. It'll get a bigger engine later on, but it'll still do everything I want for now.

I'm not sure if it would be cost effective to make and sell only 3 or 4 of these. The cost of the turf and underpad to do it in the different colors would make it hard to make anything on it without charging a bunch. He just made mine with turf and pad we had left over
