That says .024" mine is .009". I am afraid it's not enough clearance with the new hooker impeller.

I put the new prop on today. My clearance is .009 in the tightest spot (on top side of the ring) and .013 elsewhere. Is that within spec? Anyone know the recommended clearance?

You really think it's the impeller? The little bit of information I found reading around, suggest a swollen wear ring. Aren't these known for that after 10 years? Going to replace with a hooker 9/15.
