Yah I doubted it, rotating the shaft in the hole and watching the clearance will tell you how straight it is. Are those pics after shimming? How hard was it to slide in the pump if the shaft was tight against the through hole?

Got the new hose installed and it fits great. The material is more flexible than I expected which helped during the installation. Just need a few larger T-Bolt clamps for the waterbox and it will be ready to go.

Thanks for all the positive comments, this has been fun to put together but way more work than I had planned. The riser bars are the RRP 50MM I am just test fitting everything in the hull now before I start the final assembly, once I have the motor set I will post some more pics.

Yes that is an external fuel pump for the carbs, the crank case has two pulse fittings, one that split off for the dual carbs, and the other went to the external fuel pump. That is an aluminum gas tank with a sending unit in it... I do not know what someone was thinking on that one but it...
