this is a DI .... i paid $ 130 for the ski only, did not perform a compression test thought i roll the dice....
Where to start .... to save time and expense ..myself mabey u can pitch in if u know a lot about these .....
- Working Battery installed first, see if it cranks before anything else ??
- There are reset fuses I seen on the front electrical box,
- I heard of stuck impellers, swelling of pump section ....so engine might not turn.
- Fuel pressure regulator gets lost in tank
- Fuel pump in tank fails
- Capacitor fails
- EMM fails
- Module 503 fails
How do I have to avoid fuel being pumped to injectors during compression test ? Can I just unplug fuel pump ?
Its a giant ski , will also be flipping it if the repair parts cost dont eat up the project ...
Last but not least will need a title
Last possibility do a swap into something smaller and fun SL 700 ??
