He actually had a pretty clean routine going , last night and then about 1/2 way through his routine, he came off of the ski and injured his shoulder. He had to be assisted off of the water.

@800750 I got tied up yesterday and didn’t get the result sheet for amateurs, but, the title went to Nate Rhinehart followed by Jack Dubuois. Both got bumped up to pro class.
Nolan Jukish won rounds 1&2. Gomez placed 2nd in both rounds. Gabe Jukish came into yesterday’s final in 3rd.
With double points, it was winner take all.
With he way Gomez was riding, I was thinking he was going to pull off the overall. But, yesterday, on his opening double backflip , he under rotated and drowned the motor. He sat dead in the water for well over a minute, and by the time he got the motor re- lit, he was only able to squeeze in one more trick.
So, the win went to Nolan(again).
Followed by his brother Gabe.
Taiji from Japan got 3rd.

Bader did not compete on Sunday’s final round. I saw him on the beach, with his arm in a sling.
