Not a ski, but I imagine I’d have to spend about $150 to build a crate, spend an afternoon getting supplies and building it, then take to a freight station probably 45 minutes away.

Then you’d have to cover the shipping of probably $500 or so I’d imagine.

Not really sure if thats worth the hassle unless I’m mistaken in these numbers.

Maybe see if you can put the ole X-H2O shipping train back to work , if you have a few people making trips to a few different places it might work, or least you could get it close enough that you can drive to pick it up , I know I have been part of the train before if for nothing but a secure drop off and pick up location .

Just wanted to chime in here regarding shipping. I would recommend checking out freightquote.com to coordinate shipping. I just had a ski shipped from California to Texas via XPO Logistics for $486 including insurance. Shipping quote was $386 + $100 for $15,000 insurance. Total weight of the shipment was roughly 525lbs (crate + ski)
