SN hood media blast?

I have a hood that has been repainted and then hydro dipped. Local media blaster said that they could blast it. Anyone think this would be a bad idea? Trying to prep for fresh paint and original graphics.

I have had my entire Rn hull media blasted by someone else..not sure what he used, but he got all the layers of paint off and down to the glass. It was very aggressive, so be prepared for some body work...I was very happy with the result.
