TPE along with the former owner and the cylinder designer Erik Brigham and our engineering team are proud to offer our latest innovation.

It took over two years of trial and error to develop this case with many hours on the phone with the original inventor of the cylinder and also our current casting house that makes the cast Worx cases.

We started with quite a few changes from our past 15 years together, working on these engines. From assembly issues to re-machining that we have done on every case so far we decided to start fresh. Re-machining an already expensive case is definitely not what we wanted to do, but it was necessary in the past. Those days are now over the cases come off the mill ready to bolt together or anodize to your color choice.

First, we started with some CAD drawings that involved a redesign of the crankshaft as most of you know from about three years ago with Phil from Crank Works. We sat down with Phil to balance our engines and he and I have been in discussions over multiple changes that will make this engine package far superior to all the winning skis we had at WF this year.

It takes a lot to improve upon number one, and with this, we are hopeful that we have.

Once we had our own crankshaft balanced and designed, we of course used our OEM bearings that we designed specifically with Aaren Davis from ADR about 2 1/2 years ago with a well known Japanese bearing manufacture and Jeff from Competitive Crankshaft.

Some of the items that we wanted to update were easy and some of them were quite complex. We didn’t just set out to copy we wanted to create a better product.

Rapid prototyping, thanks to Alec Duffy on our TPE dedicated speciality 3d printer allowed rapid changes to crank areas, reed redesign, heights widths, and lengths all have changed thanks to his overnight diligent work and never settling for second best.

Weight reduction was definitely a concern as our engines are already the lightest on the market, but we wanted to eclipse the others.

Not only are these cases 3 pounds lighter than the original Dasa based cases we have been using. That’s after we were shaving some material off of the originals. They are much much lighter than our chinesium competitors as well. Even lighter than the new cast 0-12mm stroker cases.

Finished and checked to .0001” of an inch bearing fits on a gauge that goes to .00001”

They come with features that we will tell you about if you are interested. I’m sure everyone knows at this point. I won’t be posting anything for anyone else to see of any value.

The Billet 1200 cases are made right here in Buffalo NY USA start to finish. Using US and Canadian alloys to bring you the highest quality lowest weight products available anywhere today.

Our 2025 redesigned TPE1200 cylinders are now available in limited quantities. Changes again wont be discussed here, but some are external and most are inside changes.

Black anodize billet TPE cases in stock today. Preorders receive free anodize any color shown here.

Feel free to reach out and contact us with any questions. I’m sure you guys all know at this point we’re not going anywhere but to #1 again.

Thank you for your continued faith and support.

These will not be ran on a dyno by us. Feel free to test them though. Hopefully you'll be impressed. Look back at the X and Dyno testing.

Brian, yes thank you for all your past help from Dasa, Erik and the SB2020 cases. We have taken a little from Polaris, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda, CrankWorks, Dasa, Worx, SB2020, CPI, my current job sizing bearing fitments for our motors here at my day job along with all three of our bearing manufacturers.

My past experience assembling motors for over 40 + years and the current motors along with our engineers feedback with over 125 years combined experience in motorsports have been used to make this a truly plug and play setup. We can honestly state that even your carburetor's will now be easier to tune. More to come. ;)

We wanted the ultimate in performance, while being able to meet or be less than others price points, while being able to quality control the entire process.

You will all see and witness more of the changes over the next few months and years.

Major internal changes as well as fitment issues for our different reed offerings from others as well as case volume changes, flow path changes, weight reduction, and the ability to offer customer specific stroke packages for our 16 and 20mm stroke motors. You can now order your specific package and not have a one size fits all case. This is a TPE specific package offering.

We needed to have a turn key solution for our new cylinders. Rework time is not profitable, therefore we had to make our own in order to move our latest engine packages forward while reducing their price point.

More to come from Torrent and TPE. Others follow, were the leader.
