Thinkin' I might sell my skis

In the past 4 years I've rode....8 times?

Last I checked market is hot and I'd get my money back at least. I love riding. It's just been hard to dedicate time to the water lately. Has anyone sold off their stuff and regretted it? Since the 2 stroke superjet is dead, I'm worried if I ever want another go I won't be able to get one. I have two skis and no one can care less about riding the other. Everyone wants to ride a sit down. Maybe sell one?

I tend to be sentimental, I still have my first superjet, a 650 that looked like a pos that I built into something that looks like a pos but is an animal. I also have a bone stock beautiful sn, I promised the former owner I wouldn't screw with it, and haven't. I never did a/m hulls. The only one I ever liked was the vision. A friend let me ride his once and he saw me do things I could not normally do on it. Decided next time he's riding that, lol. I'm a freerider, not a freestyle guy. I can't get a vision so...?

I think it might be time. Sorry for the ramble.

I rode my ski maybe 4 times last year, had the boat out twice. Things and hobbies change, I get it. My view is, if it's not hurting you financially and you have room to store them, keep them. If you get completely out of the sport, it's going to be expensive to get back in. And on a side note, if you do sell them and feel the need to ride, take a ride up to Presque Isle and spend a day at the beach with us. You are more than welcome to take my SV1 out!

i sold all .... said i am getting out, then bought a bunch again, then sold them again ....then bought again ..... maybe just time for a change
sounds expensive.
@mthomps keep one ski on a shop cart. even if you never ride again. how much money are you really going to get for it anyways? let it be a barn find for someone else later down the road.

one is the cleanest stock 701 sn in the midwest. a little electrical work. its been sank and started at the ramp. ridden like a banshee to burn out water. its got this ride plate. ocean pro. it has these fins that just slam in to poop. ok, i'll admit i named her. its 'pinky'

other is my ski. ....."viper"..

total animal of an sn. its been in 12 footers with a 650 motor. no offense but most of you cannot comprehend 12 waves on lake erie let alone ride it. its my baby. tricked out to shi*t. name it its got a part a bought.
maybe i just wish someone would ride with me.

i dont understand the fear of falling and swimming. people done want that.

i've had chances to get my lady in. but thats not the point of this lol

Prices are way down right now. I see dirt cheap stuff. The window of opportunity has slammed shut on our fingers. One of my rules. Never sell your toys unless you're flat broke. It'll cost you more to replace what you got rid of. If you dont need the money, dont sell. Only sell for a profit. Some broke dick dog will give his $hit away . Sometimes you do need to take a loss to reinvest in something that will be profable. One step back 2 steps forward
