Can you please post the photo from the other side? Do you need also to plug the side hole? The hole in the side will be the same diameter as the original. I made an aluminum plug for mine. Eyeball the angle needed to drill through to the original pocket.
If understood correctly, I need to drill the new passage (red line), make a new hole from the top part, and block the middle top hole above the check valve (but not to cover the inside passage).Don't have access to the kidney valves any more. I didn't plug the drilled side hole, didn't seem to matter which hole the fuel would flow in, as long as it wasn't the original.
This is from my dual Novi 48, which is installed on a Limited Sxr 800. With 2.5 Needle and seat and 115g springs at 19 psi pop off the fuel is still dribbling. Needle and seats are new and not leaking (pump tested hold 19 psi).If understood correctly, I need to drill the new passage (red line), make a new hole from the top part, and block the middle top hole above the check valve (but not to cover the inside passage).
What about the existing passage at the bottom, which is blocked from the side
(blue line )? Can be left as it is?
Am I missing something?
