A long time buddy of mine and I put together a 350 LUV truck that ran 11s in the early 90s, funny to think that ol girl layed down 500HP to the rear wheels. Nowadays 500HP would get you comfortable last place anywhere you went.
Hello, Lexan or closed face cover? I dont do decorative clear, It yellows over time to heat and UV exposure, Hard clear is a grey color. Otherwise they are just machined Aluminum finish.

I dont know what the other side of your case looks like, but in my opinion, I think you guys took too much off the reedside flange. Your cases dont appear to be very crankshaft or user friendly/durable if they flex, and/or cant contain a rod mishap and need to be replaced after.
epoxied OE cases/disaster plate 9 or 12lbs from memory. But not really a fair comparison, since those cases are mostly compromised by the time they are trenched. Kick a rod off and the OE cases are likely unsaveable junk.
