I have a 20 ton press so that is not a problem. Which way do you press it out from, the side at the rear after the impeller or the end of the drive shaft that is closest to the engine? Thanks

Update: Thanks everyone for the help. I have been away for the past week but while I was gone I had the threads soaking in WD40. When I got back today, it took about three shock hits and it easily broke free. I was able to remove the washer but I am not sure how I am supposed to get the seals...

Thanks everyone. I am going home tomorrow so I will see if I have any luck this time. Claudefrog, I was going to use a dremel tool to try to smooth out the stator as best I can before going out and buying a new/used one.
