yamaha VX110 or FXho's somewhat cheap, ultra reliable... fun but not enough that you can get into trouble with them

rxp is a better deal. if its the 215 motor your all set.... if he wants to go fast for under 1K in mods he can have a reliable 70mph boat all day long.

if you dont wanna go through the hassle. take them to a reputable photographer/photography studio and have them put on digital media. otherwise grab a 24 pack and be prepared for alot of click scan and save for a few hours
