if your going 3 colors you may aswell make the design a little more flowing..

3-3.5 depending on the condition.. Do all the usual checks for compression, if its ok then its probably worth it if the hull and paint are in good condition also. IMO i always tear something down when i buy them second hand anyway, its a good measure to do the piston, rings and clean the carb out.

who makes the best pfd's.. is it wise to stick with Jetpilot, my previous vests were good but id like to see if anyones using other brands.

thanks for the advice Matt, think il play it safe and go with a titan or rrp pole. seems well worth it spending a grand to not get impaled in the surf

Is the oem pole (Chopped 3") strong enough to take the abuse in surf or would i be best off upgrading to a aftermarket pole?

i just got a RN Superjet thats bone stock, my plan is to ride it til the end of summer then il begin reinforcing, refoaming, dual cool, and all the fruit mentioned above only im going with a solas pump mag or r&d afterburner.. anyone no which way to go? il be using it 50% surf 50% flat water...

IMO The less rotational mass the better, defintly frees up the engine.
