Can I get two? How do I order?

Got a 440 engine, 440 flywheel, and 440 stator in 550 ski with 550 electrical box. Motor turns over and spark plugs spark, but after about 30 seconds of trying to start it. The wire from the electrical box to the stator gets hot and smokes. Any ideas what the issue could be? Are the 440/550...

LOL, I forgot to mention dependable. I bet that is a lot of fun to ride though.
