sounds like potentially too much water in the system or you have an unhappy electrical component once it's heat soaked. Part of me also thinks it could be exhaust gas related, maybe a small crack somewhere that gets stressed under load. Not sure. Doesn't sound like a fun problem.
Not the same as what he needs. The limited requires a manifold that is oriented slightly different than a typical "650 style" bolt pattern. It's turned about 30 degrees differently so the chamber can clear the hull.
Those are damn near unobtanium.. I just sold a NOS one recently for 400 bucks but it had been in storage for 20+ years at a minimum... they don't come around often by themselves. Better off running a 45 degree coupler and some good clamps, those manifolds were known for falling apart.
