I saw about putting them on pontoon boats but I have a ski boat with a swim platform. Would love to tie it down to that but thinking towing it out might be best.

Bumping this old thread. Anyone ever figure out an option? I might buy a SJ and a boat with a swim platform, considering ratchet strapping it down to that but worried it’ll be too much if it’s in choppy water.

AM hull. If you go motor, by the time your ready for a hull, you'll need a rebuild and want to go bigger anyway. Get the hull now which will outlast the motor. You'll always want a bigger motor, but if you get the hull that's right for you, you'll never need another one or a rebuild.
