While replacing the midshaft housing on my sport cruiser I found the bulkhead housing has separated from the hull. It appears to be plastic and was glued in place from the factory. I'm not sure what Kawasaki used from the factory to bond these two, definitely looks to be some sort of adhesive...

I don't see much wrong with this at all, people copy ideas all the time! I've seen many hull builders make SJ clones and so on. There is a guy making a welded up RRP pole copy right now. At least its made in the US:eek:

I don't want this to become a bash Tim thread, in his latest text to me he's okayed swapping the manifold. The OP is going to mail the bad one over to Tim, and then Tim will mail him a usable one.

Not sure, I'd guess a hiccup in the HP number. When I had my car on the dyno, out of 3 pulls, we had a couple of miss reads on each run just like the sheet above.

This is normal in the car engine dyno world. just a hiccup in the data.

How does it look after being under the water? Do you know how long it was on the bottom?

I'm not much help, as I've yet to run mine. But I got the dasa 48's to run on my et967. Art told me he has run them and had good results. He sent me the jetting specs he recommended for the dasa's
