i think it was a 12 vein mag. probably not required until you go over 1000cc. it's the blade design etc that makes the difference.

Talk to JD before you jump into the 148. He had one. Too much prop for his 865SS. 144 is perfect for his setup.

the mag comes with a billet tail cone. use your reduction nozzle.
