on the other side of the shaft, there are 2 hoses.. one of them (lower) is attatched to the bilge.. and the other on top, is actually capped off.. is this the one i use??

i got a 90' 650, and i have a cooling hose that is attached to the manifold on one end, and about 2" of tube sticking out of the hull on the other end, (i assume this tube leads to the pump).. well, that 2'' that sticks out of the hull broke off flush with the hull.... how would i go about...

i tried to look this up with no luck.. i recently got an 89 650 with dual carbs setup.. with the pic attached, can someone tell me what they are? and the stock screw settings?? i see two screws on the left and one on the right.. thanks guys..
