Should be receiving the cart today. It has been an interesting process and I just got an email from UPS for import fees around $60… I’ll follow with how it all plays out soon.

I ordered one of their freeride carts today. First one in the US. It’s a two week lead time + one week shipping. The cart looks solid in the pictures Martin sent me, but I’ll post a detailed review when I get it in a few weeks. Fingers crossed.

Does anybody here have experience with Formula Jet Totes (beach carts)? I like the low profile design with the winch for solo launching, but I have never seen one in person. Does anybody know how they hold up, especially in salt water?

Regardless of waves, I’ll be there. It’s always a great time catching up with everybody on/off the water. Surf just makes it even better!

Almost a really cool couch. It just feels like they don’t want to take any risks or do anything too different.

I think water leaking through your flywheel cover (due to a bad oring or improperly sealed grommet) can cause the bendix/starter to get stuck and fail. If it’s a repetitive problem that would be one of the first things I would check.

I don't have an RTP, but their hulls are rock solid and handle great in surf.

I heard about "Xinsurance" recently. I think they insure Mark Gomez, so it's worth looking into.

So far, I don’t know of anyone that caught it this year at Daytona. However, Daytona 2020 there was definitely something (probably coronavirus) going around that was pretty brutal.

Not sure what a stock pole weighs. But I have been riding with the same RRP lightweight pole with aluminum tubes for years and it has never failed me. Never heard of one beaking either.
