Have you been riding in saltwater? Corrosion possibly on the ground cables and power cables or just a loose connection.

When I see footage of subs like this I always look to see if there is some creature swimming nearby

I actually had the head on the other way and the other side wouldn't line up. So I flipped it and just left it.

They are helicoils. It's really weird though. It's about half the bolt hole off. I just need the motor to last the season and then I'll build something new though.

The last head bolt doesn't line up. I didn't want to drill the head out to fit it so I took pictures and sent it to ADA. They are sending a new one out to me.

Rode a buddies ski one weekend a couple months ago and started looking for one that night. Its been a fun expensive process. Started not knowing the first thing about skis. Once I started I just couldn't leave the next part alone. Still tuning but for an old square she pulls hard.
