Squish clearance is checked on every engine we built. The rod break in the middle of it. that was not a bearing issue. That what BOB told me. If you ride 10 oem tanks of fuel in 2 days, good for you, but its not the case for everybody.

Im asking myself the same question, why ? Yes there is a BOB, he pm me to know some details.

it depend of the tank you run, but I saw a pics of BOB setup and its set with a bpipe in a SJ so I guess its the stock oem tank who is close to 5 gal. 5 gal of fuel it maybe 1.5-2hours of ride time with a 850............

mine too.............. Just spoke with BOB and now its not 10 hours of ride time, but 10 tanks of fuel (half summer).

lol he make me rebuilt the engine with the SBT crank....................his decision, not mine.

We built those 850 as a cheap alternative to go Big Bore. Retail of these engine are 3100$CAD with SBT crank. We have sold many in 2 year. The first one is still running. We had problem with 2 other engine, but not big problem, only piston damage due to water intrusion. SBT covered the crank...

SBT wont cover it. I sold you the engine at my cost price since you helped me a lot in the past. I rebuilt the engine for you also at my cost price to give you a hand. I did not even count my 8 hours of my time I took for you on that.

Maybe you have to tell more details of what exactly broke on your engine ? Maybe the ski sunk and ingest a lot of water ?
