I have a bare 144 pump to go with that driveshaft.

I have a guy at my job who welds. I just showed him he was kinda meh on it. He suggested cleaning with a dremel. He was concerned about it burning thru the poor quality in his words cast pump.

Rode the fx1 ashore end of last season when the water was low. Sucked a rock in the pump amd damaged my impeller and roughed up the stator veins. Now I'm at the crossroads of pump swap or fix what I have. I'm more then likely going to send the impeller to impros to get refurbished. It's a 17/23...
