My father had a pinched nerve in his spine that caused him exteme pain in his entire lower body. Rushed to hospital, gave him steroids and basically told him the same thing (it will fix itself). Didn't work after about 2 weeks, went into surgery, and hes back good as new now!

Starter fluid down the carbs always helps me.. Also, take a torch to the plugs, to get them really hot, them put them in the head while they're still hot, it helps them from fouling..

The best switch ive ever had is like Mark44's, its a bar mounted switch that I got on a ski I bought. The ski had been sank in 1999, and the engine was removed and the hull sat until 2008. I've used it for about 3 years, and it still works. I think you can buy it at blowsion.

One of my friends has a 62t/61x top, with a single manifold hooked up to an OEM mikuni 46 It SIPS fuel, its crazy We can get 4-5 days of riding on that ski, on a single tank (5 gal)
