Could be dirty terminal on battery or earth or live to starter , take leads off battery and give them good clean with sandpaper and re fit then follow earth lead from battery to starter and make sure it's on tight and not lose or hanging on by few strands or wire ?? Can be a fiddle to do with...

Very unlikely to be your cdi I check your earths first, if you have a multi meter check you have power to the coil when you hit start button , then check stator readings Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
