I know it was along time ago but can you tell me more about where you rode surf near Hickam?

Did you ride by the reef runway out of sight from Hickam marina and Hickam beach? I have a standup that I can’t get registered and don’t want to be hassled by the Hawaii DLNR. Do think I will be ok if I stay in that area?
