    Other Primer plunger rebuild

thats a good price on the primer pump whole. I got the O ring for 59 cents from an auto parts store, but hardware stores will have them too. it was a hurry, and cheap sort of deal.

    Other Primer plunger rebuild

I saw the article on green hulk about rebuilding them, its very helpful! http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?16610-Primer-Plunger-Rebuild I measured and found O rings to fit, and wanted to post it up here ( mainly so I wont forget) they are a -012 O ring. 3/8" ID, 1/2" OD...

Super Jet killed another Oddy Gel battery.. done with GEL bat's

all of my Odyessey pc625 batteries from a few years ago are still in service, except ONE. wife's bilge pump switch stayed on for several months and killed it I guess, it wont charge. one even made its way into my dual sport motorcycle, it certainly gets beat harder than a superjet. maybe they...

Freestyle More Bpipe fine tuning questions or is it something else

Actually, ive recently done my wifes boat, so I might be mixing up in my memory what I did to hers, versus what I did to mine a couple of years ago.. I used 3/8 nylon bushings from lowes hardware section, they reduce the cooling flow path down to 1/4" I think. the spark plug end works really...

Freestyle More Bpipe fine tuning questions or is it something else

Ive got a restrictor in the headpipe out put too, its neccesary to fill the cavity with water. along with a sparkplug tip pushed into the stinger, and a jetworks valve. IM saying, that the only way I could get decent bottom end out of the B pipe was to run it very very dry, with just a mist of...

put your thumb over a waterhose nozzle, what happens?

Freestyle More Bpipe fine tuning questions or is it something else

I dont know if you saw my Bpipe ordeal thread or not. I had many issues like you are having, until I added some restrictors into the lines feeding the Bpipe, to get enough pressure to really MIST the water instead of dribble. that made a world of difference on my boat. I ended up with bottom...

twinsted crank, or oddly failed MSD enhancer?

Kid4now, I verified spark, and in the process ( there is a vid) the engine never locked when the plugs werent firing) Idok, its an old worn out motor, it shows 150 psi in each hole with the ada head and 37cc domes, been like that for the few years ive been running this motor. plugs...

twinsted crank, or oddly failed MSD enhancer?

haha, the stator is for one of my dual sport bikes... there was some real slight pitting on the front dome, I guess I really shouldnt be running any 87 octane fuel. the domes are 37cc too, I had always though they were 35.

twinsted crank, or oddly failed MSD enhancer?

well hell. I pulled the engine out, expecting to find a bad crank, or a hole in the bottom engine case. Nothing I can find, piston wash looks good, everything turns and moves as it should. so I removed the E box, got some rusty connectors, MAYBE the msd cdi is bad, or maybe it wasnt...

twinsted crank, or oddly failed MSD enhancer?

pulled the ski out of the water today. More discovery, troubleshooting to follow. rear crank seal is there, and looks normal Idok, Im starting to wonder if there is a hole in the bottom case. more info to follow ....

twinsted crank, or oddly failed MSD enhancer?

Scorn, thanks for the input. Ill assume you mean BIG end Rod bearing? if the CDI swa[p yeilds no results, I will remove the head, and hold down the slugs and roll it back and forth via the coupler , maybe I can fond the slop. thanks guys! this is an oddball scenario to me for sure.

twinsted crank, or oddly failed MSD enhancer?

so there it is, any ideas? I realize the odd noise is hard to understand and hear, but the engine has never had that nearly LOCKUP sound when starting before.... MattE, maybe its such a slight difference in the TDC/BDC that I cant tell it by eye? would that make it absolutely not start?

twinsted crank, or oddly failed MSD enhancer?

here I dumped ( way too much) fuel straight down the carb, no love, it nearly rumbled at first, then it nearly locked up once, then it just spun freely. Normally this engine would run (and even rev with the the throttle) a few times on a spoon of fuel...
