Well i can say from experience bc I currently ride a fix steer rn sj and love it compared to my blaster. I got bored fast on the blaster but the fixsteer is much more nimble and playful on small days or to chase boat wakes. Found on flat days my blaster was like a couch and got bored real quick.

Some way to suspend the nose up in the air from a wake tower or something? Post pics of the boat and maybe we can figure something to help. Guess im spoiled with my swim platform :-)

Put in 2 veras plugs like i did and forget about it. Never have to pull plugs again. as you are moving the water will go out. Had this set up for over 2 years and dry as a bone. And no need to refoam a wave blaster because it is a completely different foam and set up than stand up skis...

That looks like water intrusion damage to me. From what i see in the pics there is a lot pitting on the crank and the rust on the bearings i would say you are getting water in the motor.

take some lacquer thinner and in a small inconspicuous spot see if the black wipes off. if he used cheap enough paint and didnt scuff it up it before paint with some elbow grease yo might be able to take the rattle can paint off.
