I took it out and ran it hard in the lake yesterday for about 20 minutes. Everything was perfect. I'm assuming at this point that just has FFP guessed it is the heat sensor. I can't imagine a CDI or coil would kill off, then come back to life down the road. How do I protect the plugs and...

Done. Checked w/ an auto ranging meter it reads 15.05K ohms. I'm going to freeze my nards of wed. and put it in the lake to see what it does....

I'll agree with that! I've got one here, but to my suprise, the ski started with mine. (per first post) I guess I check it with the ski running? (sorry, I'm ignorant to electronics). Define "reads open".
