SJ all the way. Just bought a 93 tricked for $1k.

I have not run it on a hose, (where can you get that attachment). It has two pissers on the left side that are working fine. I unscrewed the fuel filter and found good amount of water. The plugs were also very oily. I am going to add some straight 91 octane and try the new plugs this week.

I just bought a 93 SJ650. It runs great for about 10 - 15 minutes, then boggs down and sounds very rough for about 1 minute and delivers no power to the prop at any throttle setting. I just had to sit there and idle until it would get back to normal power. It did this cycle all day long and...

I am taking a good amount of water in my hull. I am pretty sure it is the rotted out seal letting it in. Has anyone found a fix that works from lowes or home depot? Any thick weather stripping should work. Any help would be appreciated.

I just bought an 84 550. The previous owner put gear oil in it. It started fine at his house, but when I got it home, the starter was dead from ingesting oil. I would advise anyone to check this before purchase to save $100. Giddy up, MB

Alright, im retarded. Thanks for stopping me before I put oil in it. Im sure that was the cause of the original starters death.
