Haven't worked on this all winter.... Been too busy with the music project. Anyway, I finally got the handlepole installed. I've also got the carbs rebuilt. I won't be using the K&N's as they suck in the surf. I'll prolly go with the stock airboxes.

I was just thinking..... Another way to do it would be to put the filler where the pickup tubes go, block off the original filler neck, then just drill new holes for the pickups. You would have to figure out a way to secure the new pickup tubes. With all of the do-it-yourselfers here, somebody...

Finally finished the plate. I measured 3 inches on a compass and scribed it from the center point. Cut out notches with a hand grinder with a cutting disk on it til I was close. Then I put a sanding drum in a drill press and cleaned it up. Just gotta find a pic of the finished product...

Heres my Jet Dynamics ride plate being cut up! Just have to make the d-cut... Anyone know a good way to cut it without a bandsaw?
