Purchased brass elbows from Atlantic Jet Sports for my OEM 61x carb. These fittings work for the inlet however I need fittings for the return as well. Does anyone know where i can find 7mm press in brass elbows? The elbows I purchased are 6mm. Thanks.
I second this. If proper filler rod is used, and the material is clean, the weld should break at the heat affect zone (either side of the bead).

Did some searching and found a lot of info on small plug style duck bill valves and versi plugs. Versi plugs look great however the they inhibit flow. Has anyone used a 2" insert able duck bill valve to stop a scupper from leaking? Duck bills seem to be a cheaper option without sacrificing flow...
Excuse my ignorance here. I've always been interested in rotary engines. Lately there have been more popping up. Is this design similar to the rotary uav engines?

I know this is different but a testament to the big power rotary engines can produce in a small package...
No i wish. I could pay to ship it there but i'd have no tools, tow vehicle, or any place to store it. Will just have to be happy with surfing.

So you put a side entry into your front foothold for a fire extinguisher? It looks like a pvc pipe going across the entire width of the tray.

Yeah I had the same thoughts. Might be worth grabbing a digital thermometer and placing it by the carb to see if engine compartment temperature has much effect on incoming air. I'm curious but doubt this will see much more time.
Matt_e was right about the pole spring. Tightened my pole bolt up today so the pole barely moved. Worked great. Rest of my body is sore but my lower back feels great.

I ride a lot and work out 5 days a week so i dont think it's muscle related. I might have to try a spring. It would be a lot easier than lengthening the pole. I do ride in the holds a lot too. Maybe a front hold when i redo my footholds this weekend.
I built my bracket from some aluminum plate...

Here's another one. Sounds like they're coating all bearing surfaces; wrist pin, connecting rod sleeves, needle bearing, cylinder walls, and even the rings. This article says they're smoothing the surfaces down...
