Is there any way you could get me the measurements of the brackets that are located on the front of the hood that mates with those z clips? Those are the one I need and can’t find any info on the. I have some rectangular tubing just need some dimensions :)

I recently purchased a 91 square nose and the front of the hood does not have the hinge prongs. I need accurate measurements of them so I can fabricate some. Any information would help, thank you. Also if anyone knows any for sale I would buy just can’t find any.

No worries. Thanks for looking though. Do you have a sn? And if so when you get a chance could you send a pic of the front of the hood so I can see what they look like. I’ve only been able to find them on a schematic and I can’t see a lot of detail.

Are you talking about a handle pole or the hood brackets?

Hello. I recently purchased a 91 650 super jet. I need to fabricate some front hood stops as I cannot find any used ones and mine are missing. Does anybody have any photos of one that I could use as a referenced to make some? Thank you.

I’ll make sure the gaugu is accurate. It’s brand new but a cheap harbor freight one. My bud has a Matco one I’ll use to compare. I did finger in a small amount of two cycle oil on the cylinder walls before putting head and gasket back on. What do you mean by wet cylinder?

OK so I put a new head gasket in and bolted it all back together just to see what my compression would be and cylinder one in the rear went from 115 before the new head gasket to 90. And cylinder two in the front of the unit went from 30 previously to 90 as well.. plan on doing a top end before...

So while I was cleaning off the head and removing the old gasket I noticed These two pieces which I assume used to be one piece floating around in the inner chamber between the two cylinders. Do you know what it is and if it’s worth replacing? There are old thread marks on the innards of them...
