Maybe when I go back I'll get @Sasquachcrap to cut me an oem one a little longer than stock. Seems like it could use another 3/4". Engine was shimmed with coupler removed.
Checked the shaft and it is the correct length/part number. They were replace as a set. Sbt parts....

Rockered front and rear Blaster hull. Stock pump. Installed brand new stock drive shaft and mid shaft. Wouldn't think to check runout on a new shaft. Didn't even think about how far it was engaged. Maybe wrong length shaft as well?

@stagesrt4 I just turned mine like you did and jammed another piece of hose inside the stock hose so it goes as deep into the hull as possible. It clears my mod pipe no problem. Blocked off the rear intake. Never had a problem with water ingestion. Easy cheap and simple.
I ride mine on the lake a lot too or a good ways to get out to surf. I found if I ride in somewhat of a surf stance, left foot near the front of the footwell and right foot rearward I can lean the ski left slightly and it will not porpoise if you lean it right. Can even rip it max speed. Just...
