Hey Michael, Just incase you didn't understand my voice mail... Do not use the cover plate that was included in the kit. It is not necessary and will make the difference in the length of the bolt. Pre 96 boats have fiberglass Handlepoles so the plate is used for protection. In 1996...

Blasters are soooo fun to ride. If I wasn't such a Kawie girl and die hard stand up princess, I wouldn't mind owning one. T-bone is right they are easier for girls to get on, I guess it's the balance thing too.

I've been riding Kawies all my life. The 98 and up stand ups are so stable and easy to ride. Just my two cents.
